Alright, so I’m definitely NOT a fashion blogger. Which is why my first reaction was to laugh when someone asked me to do a fall outfit post. But then I started to think about it, and I realized it was actually a great idea.

I follow a lot of blogs. I read a lot of magazines. I pay attention to a lot of Instagram accounts. And even though I can appreciate great style and fashion, the truth is that most of the outfits I see other people wearing on social media are things I would never actually wear in real life.

I’m a typical college kid. I’m just tryna go to class. I don’t need to wear anything fancy on an everyday basis. Let’s be real – I do NOT wear a new outfit every day of the year. My priorities are to be comfortable and feel good in what I’m wearing. I also don’t want to have to think too hard about it. No fuss.

Because I’m just a typical girl wearing typical clothes, I feel like this post is perfect for anyone else looking for back-to-school outfits because it’s realistic. I’m going to share with you some of my go-to fall outfits – outfits that I ACTUALLY wear all the time. Anyone who knows me personally has seen me wear most of, if not all of, these outfits before. Yes, I wear the same outfits over and over again. I just mix and match what I have in my wardrobe, and it all works out. I’m a real person.

I don’t have an extensive wardrobe, and you don’t have to! You also don’t need to spend a lot of money on clothes to look presentable. Real life is not a fashion show or a fashion blog. I like simple, easy outfits, so that’s what I wear. I go for basics, and I stick to the same colors – mainly black, white, gray, olive, and maroon. Nothing too fancy shmancy or creative, but that’s the point. Basically, I just want to throw out some simple outfit ideas that are perfect for fall and casual enough for school, hanging out, running errands, or whatever else you gotta do.

A denim shirt, white tank, black jeans, and plain booties are all fall staples for me. I love to layer, and this shirt is perfect for that. You can switch out the top layer (denim shirt) and have a totally different outfit while keeping the rest of your clothes the same. #LAZYGIRLLIFE

I live in my converse during the school year because I prefer wearing sneakers when walking the crazy UCLA hills. A basic maroon long sleeve is another staple for me, and chokers are an easy way to spice up any otherwise-plain outfit!

Leggings and a huge sweater are a classic Christina outfit. Ask anybody… it’s definitely what I wear most often. It’s comfortable but still cute, and the loafers make it look like I actually tried.

Brown Backpack

Lululemon Leggings

Kale T Shirt

White Cardigan

Black Loafers

Aaaand here I am again with leggings and a sweater. See what I mean? I basically just pair different scarves and boots with my leggings/sweater combos, and that’s me “changing up” my outfit. Comfy, easy, and cute.

Grey Suede Boots

Lululemon Leggings

White Sweater

Green Scarf

Once again, a totally basic outfit that looks different because I switched out the top layer. Plaid is always a must-have for fall. I also live in my favorite pair of jeans in fall and winter. I paired this outfit with a maroon bag for a pop of color – accessories are a great way to switch things up.

Black & White Flannel

White V-Neck

Skinny Jeans

Taupe Booties

Bar Pendant

Michael Kors Crossbody

Sweater, boots, jeans – basic fall outfit. The boots make the outfit look very put-together, but this is still an easy outfit that’s comfortable enough for me to wear on my 45 minute trek to class everyday.

Skinny Jeans

Gold Pendant

Brown Cross-body Bag

Brown Knee-High Boots

V-Neck Sweater

This outfit is for days when I actually want to look cute, but it’s still super easy. A plain white long sleeve is a MUST, and I think every girl needs a cute skirt in her closet. I paired it with some plain black booties and a scarf to make it more fall-appropriate.
