How Coffee Affects Your Weight

Ohhhh, coffee. Always the controversial subject. Some people can’t live without it, and others avoid it at all costs. There are many avenues to discussing how coffee can affect your health, but in this post I want to talk specifically about how coffee can potentially affect your weight. This is just one piece of the puzzle when it comes to evaluating whether or not you want to include coffee in your life, because we could also look at how coffee affects your brain function, gut health, longevity, and so on. (Also, not all coffee is the same, but that’s for another time. Quality is everything.) When I’m discussing coffee in this post, much of this can also be applied to anything high in caffeine…although some points are specific to coffee.

So, can coffee affect your weight? Clearly, yes, or I wouldn’t be writing this post. For some people, coffee can aid in weight loss, but for other people it can actually cause weight gain. Which person are you?! Read more to find out how coffee might be affecting your body…
