Low carbohydrate diets are a popular tool people use to lose weight, increase their energy levels, improve their digestion, balance out their blood sugar, and address a number of other health concerns. One main benefit of a low carbohydrate diet is that it promotes insulin sensitivity, which is why many people turn to a low-carb diet when they have insulin resistance. In fact, this was the reason why I turned to a low-carbohydrate diet myself!
