In this episode, I chat with Kara Halderman, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and host of the Low Carb Conversations Podcast! Kara shares her incredible story about having to drop out of school to take care of her health after finding out she had over 30 ulcers and how that eventually led her to becoming a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. She talks about why she didn’t go the RD route, how she fell into an eating disorder when going keto, and how she overcame it. We talk about nutrition lies we see on Instagram and some of our social media pet peeves. We also discuss what it’s like being in the health and wellness space at such a young age and how to be a knowledgeable consumer. We talk about the keto trend, mono-meals, food order, and more!
