In this episode, I sit down with Kate Van Horn, creator of KaleInIt.com and founder of the GOOD Fest, to discuss mental illness. Kate shares her personal story with mental illness and how she has learned to deal with it throughout her life. We discuss stigmas around mental illnesses, why it doesn’t define you, and even how you can use it to your advantage. We talk about healthy and unhealthy ways of dealing with depression and anxiety, how to handle rude comments from people, what we think about medication, and more.
