We all have both masculine and feminine energies within us, but many people get “stuck” in their masculine energy due to today’s go-go-go, logic-driven society. To unlock your full potential and become an effortless manifestor, the key is to embrace your feminine energy. Feminine energy encompasses everything to do with receiving and going with the flow of life – which are SO important when striving for success in relationships, business, and other aspects of life.
But, when life gets busy (as it often does,) it can be easy to push self-care and receiving to the back burner and feel as if you’re doing anything BUT going with the flow (unless “going with the flow” involves exhausting, long hours of work and LOADS of stress.)
The truth is, neglecting this energy may help you get something done in the moment, but will NOT help you in the long run – it will do the opposite.
Stifling the energy your body craves is exhausting in itself – and we tap back in to our feminine energy when we sit back, enjoy, and let our bodies and souls restore. To get started, here are 5 simple ways you can start embracing your feminine energy…
1. Buy yourself something.
If you’re struggling financially or feel like you have anything BUT the time to go shopping at the mall, hear me out – this tip can help renew your energy so much that it’s worth dropping the twenty bucks on a shirt that makes you feel good or new stickers for your planner that you love. When you spend money on yourself, you affirm that you are valuable to you – and YOU is the most important thing for you to value! You can’t feel confident in your work or decisions if you do not view yourself as worthy of things you like. One of the fastest and easiest ways to embrace your feminine energy is to buy yourself something that makes you feel good. Maybe it’s a fancy latte, a cute new shirt, an online course you’ve been dying to check out, or, a book you’ve been wanting to read – anything that helps you acknowledge that YOU are worthy and enough. Anything that allows you to ENJOY!
2.Dance.
Don’t worry, no one has to see if you don’t want them to! Go in your room, blast the music, and let your body move the way it wants to. Have fun, relax, and above all, get your blood pumping in a fun way that makes you feel great. Dancing is a perfect way to feel sexy and beautiful, and naturally boosts your endorphins (the happy hormone,) making it an incredible activity to do when looking to embrace your feminine energy. Pull up your favorite playlist on Spotify and try it!
3. Let the day take you where it wants.
Set aside a day to wake up without an alarm, eat food that fuels you and tastes amazing for breakfast, and spend time doing whatever you want to do in the moment. Feel like going for a drive? Grab your keys. Desperately need some sunshine? Visit a local park and have a picnic. This day should be all about feeling good, and is the epitome of “going with the flow.” It’s all about listening to what your mind and body need, so set aside your phone, planner, and watch, and let your mind (and body) wander. Not only will this help you embrace your free-spirited feminine energy, but will also serve as a “reset” button to help you face the next day with plenty of energy and zest for life!
4. Give yourself a makeover.
It can be as dramatic as you want – from a full hair, nail, and face routine to slipping on a dress that makes you feel beautiful. (Like that little black one stuffed to the back of your closet!) The point of this activity is to allow yourself to indulge in your looks, and to appreciate your body for its natural beauty – doing whatever you’d like to accentuate it. My routine? Start out with a bath or shower, take the time to do your nails (fingers AND toes!) and do your makeup and hair like you have all the time in the world. To finish the look, hop into an outfit that you always feel like a ten in. Bonus points for selfies you can look back on when you need a reminder of your own beauty. 😉
5. Indulge your senses.
There’s a reason that candles, warm water, and soft music leave you in a good mood. Indulging your senses in things that feel, smell, taste, sound, or look good is an incredible way to embrace your feminine energy and practice looking inward. When you indulge the senses, you pay attention to your body: its likes and dislikes, how it feels, and what it needs. A great activity that indulges many of the senses at once is a hot bubble bath complete with candles and music – by focusing on tangible things your body feels, smells, hears, etc… you shift the attention from stressors of life and focus instead on things immediately present. It’s a great grounding activity and the perfect way to embrace your feminine energy from inside your own home.
Embracing your feminine energy shouldn’t be saved for a rainy day. Actively plan out activities and times where you can be with yourself and pay attention to what your mind and body need, every single day. The key is to find a balance between your masculine and feminine energies… think about how much time you spent in a goal-oriented, go-go-go mindset! It’s time to offset that with some extra time in your feminine!
Inward reflection is just as important as outward observation, as it helps you understand your feelings, thoughts, and stresses so you can address them and make decisions accordingly. Without it, it’s easy to become burnt out and get that awful feeling of “Who am I, anyway?” that makes getting ANYTHING done nearly impossible, and is also pretty damn depressing.
If you feel disconnected or like you’re too caught up by plans and doing “all the right things,” this is a big sign that you should take time to embrace your feminine energy. You will find that it grounds you, grants you new perspective, and helps you feel less like a task-completing robot and more like what you really are: a beautiful, living human with thoughts, dreams, and a soul. Embracing your feminine energy is the key to manifestation and receiving what you ask for in life.

If you’re an online health coach, energy healer, nutritionist, or trainer who feels absolutely intimidated by the idea of using Instagram to market your business, don’t worry – I’ve gotchu covered. There are THOUSANDS of accounts showing off their seemingly (*cough cough*) successful businesses they’ve built with perfect presets – how do you get your foot in the door?
Some of my most-asked questions relating to marketing businesses via social media are the following:
- My business isn’t just like every other business, so I don’t want my Instagram to look like every other (coach’s, nutritionist’s, etc…) Instagram. How do I avoid the cookie-cutter look?
- Instagram is great for posting…but how do I use my platform to actually FIND real, paying clients?
- I don’t have the money to promote/boost my posts…what now?
While building my business I’ve NEVER (nope, not once) paid for advertising. I’ve used social media exclusively to find, keep, and wow clients…meaning I know exactly how to help you do the same.
Read on for some of my top Instagram marketing tips for entrepreneurs!
1. Be real in your captions. People can sense artificial content from a mile away.
The number one way to scare away potential clients? Post exactly what you think they want to hear. Share only the good parts of your journey, use perfect presets, and NEVER let them see you sweat. Bonus points if you’re posting exactly what every other coach in your industry is posting! 😛
This approach doesn’t work for a variety of reasons. First, no one’s life is perfect, and your clients know that. Acting like it is means losing out on a chance to make real, valuable connections with your audience through common struggles and let them connect with you as what you are – a living, breathing person. Just because you’re a coach doesn’t mean you have to have everything figured out in every aspect of your life! Just because you can’t cook doesn’t mean you don’t kick ass in energy healing. Let your audience in on your REAL life, helping them trust you more and see that, you, too go through similar things as they do.
Not only will this help you make authentic connections, but will also help you stand out from other coaches in your industry who are stuck using the cookie-cutter approach to Instagram marketing, making it one of my top Instagram marketing tips for entrepreneurs. Your audience will trust you the most when you get vulnerable, and when you’re just being real. This has been one of the most important parts of building my brand – staying incredibly real, authentic, and vulnerable with my audience so they know I’m a real human.
2. Use hashtags intentionally.
Let me say it louder for the people in the back: STOP spamming your comments section with random, cliche hashtags just to try and boost your posts’ visibility. Not only does this look unprofessional and spammy to your followers (as well as anyone else who stumbles across your page) but limits your chances to be found by people who are actually interested in YOUR services. Don’t use the hashtag #energyhealer if you don’t specialize in energy healing, only because you think it will help you get likes and views. Choosing hashtags that your potential clients are following and searching is a great way to find clients who are looking for the exact services you’re skilled at. Research some of the top hashtags for your niche, but also THINK about which hashtags your ideal client is actually looking up. Think in HER language – not practitioner language. You can use up to 30 hashtags — put these all in the comments section so it’s not in your actual post.
Doing this will allow your posts to show up under hashtags used by potential clients, allowing you to advertise your business via the hashtag’s page without spending a dime. Plus, it’s a great way to go out there and connect with your ideal client herself!..
3. Don’t be afraid to BE in your own photos.
Looping back to number one, authenticity is SO important when marketing yourself on Instagram. Think back to the last time you’ve browsed other Instagram pages in your niche – how many pages did you see full of fun graphics, big, bright text, and a great color scheme – but not one picture of the coach’s face?
If you’re thinking “I’m a coach, not a model – who wants to see my face on my business’s social media?” you’re approaching Instagram with the wrong mindset. If you want clients to pay for services from you, it’s important to show them who you are. Posting pictures with inviting smiles that showcase your own life can completely transform the intimacy of your page and help you get valuable leads. People want to SEE the person they’re going to work with! The phrase, “It’s nice to put a face to the name,” speaks for itself.
This is one of the most important Instagram marketing tips for entrepreneurs because it’s SO easy! You don’t have to spend hours developing a new business strategy or drafting content…snap a photo of yourself doing something you love, edit it (or not!), and post it to your business Instagram with a thoughtful caption giving potential clients a glimpse of your life. This will help them connect with you on a deeper level and subconsciously encourage them to reach out! And not having a photographer is NOT an excuse – you can always take a selfie!
If you’re still feeling intimidated by using social media to market your business, I cover all things Instagram marketing IN-DEPTH in my business group coaching program, No Bullshit Business School. If you’re an online coach who wants to build a 6-figure business, you do NOT want to miss out on this course!
It’s perfect for any coach or service provider who:
- isn’t making enough money (or any at all…)
- keeps getting stuck with draining / difficult clients
- can’t even FIND clients
- deals with imposter syndrome
- doesn’t really know how to coach / apply the information you learned in school
- feels like you don’t know enough to start a business
- has no idea how to scale or expand
- doesn’t want to pay for ads
- doesn’t want to follow an icky-feeling, cookie-cutter approach to business
- doesn’t want to put themselves into adrenal fatigue becoming an entrepreneur
- has the ambition but doesn’t know what to do with it
- wants to be a money magnet
- wants to work smarter, not harder
- WANTS TO HELP PEOPLE, BUT CAN’T GET YOURSELF OUT THERE AND FEELS SO LOST

If you’ve never heard of the Akashic Records, you’re not alone – many people don’t know about (or, at least fully understand) them.
I started exploring the Akashic records a few years ago, and later realized I had been working with them without even realizing it in my spiritual work. I went on to get formally trained in working with the Akashic records later on, and now they are one of the most valuable tools I have in my psychic / energetic toolbelt!
The Basics of the Records
The Akashic Records are also known as “The Book of Life” or “God’s Book of Remembrance.”They are known to store ALL of the data of everyone who has ever lived – or will ever live – in this world. That means every thought you’ve had, every emotion you’ve felt, and every decision you’ve made are recorded in this computer-like system, forever – along with those of everyone else. They are a record of your soul’s journey.
The Records dictate how each of our lives are intertwined with others’, and can influence whether we come into contact with certain people or not, see certain people again or not, or connect with certain people or not. In addition, they can influence other aspects of our lives, from our aspirations to our ideas. They can help us explain recurring patterns or themes in our lives, make sense of relationships, and help us manifest. The Records shed light on our other “past” lives and how they are influencing our current reality, as well as the possibilities of what can occur in the future. Accessing the Akashic Records can give you invaluable clarity on questions you may have about your soul’s purpose and journey.
Accessing the Akashic Records
Everyone has access to the Akashic Records, but not everyone chooses to access them. One of the most common blocks to accessing the Akashic records is simply your ego getting in the way. But because they are a database of our souls, everyone has equal access, and anyone can learn to read them.
If you’re new to the Akashic Records, I recommend getting a reading done by someone else. Before I had someone else read my Records, it was unclear to me what it was like, but afterward it made my studies easier. When you work in the Akashic Records, it’s important to have a clear intention. When you get a reading, make sure you come prepared with a list of questions to ask, ideally not yes or no questions. Different readers will receive information from the Records in different ways, but the best questions will have depth. The Akashic Records allow us to go incredibly deep and understand ourselves in a whole new way.
Understanding the Akashic Records can help you identify the trajectory of your soul, delve deeper into your creative processes, and learn about your past lives in order to make decisions for your current one.
In short, the Records contain ALL of the information that is relevant to your current life, past lives, and future. Whatever purpose you decide to use them for is up to you – but knowing about them and preparing to access them is the most important first step in your journey.

Whether or not you’ve ever considered using podcasts to market yourself and your biz, they have quickly become an attractive option for any entrepreneur looking to connect with her audience in a real, intimate way. The best part? You don’t have to take on an entirely new venture (i.e. start your own podcast) to reap the benefits they provide. In fact, simply being a guest on a podcast related to your niche is one of the best (and easiest) ways to market yourself and your business effortlessly while growing a loyal audience for a variety of reasons.
So, what makes podcasts such a great option for marketing yourself? Think about it – if you have the opportunity to sit down with a potential client for an HOUR to simply connect, that person will trust you far more than if you market something to them without that deeper connection. What is it about podcasts that can cultivate so much trust? I’ve detailed the top reasons here. ⇩
1. They show off your personality.
On social media, there’s only so much of your personality your audience (AKA potential clients!) can see. Regardless of how detailed your captions or how fun your photos are, you can’t actually have a natural conversation with your audience in a one-way Instagram caption. Instagram stories are better, but they’re still limited because they’re not long-form.
Podcasts, although you aren’t talking directly to your audience, allow listeners to hear you have a conversation with someone else and feel involved. Listeners feel like they’re a fly on the wall of a conversation with friends! And, as you speak, listeners are able to get to know you personality – through nuances of your speech, hearing you laugh, and even hearing personal stories related to the podcast topic. Because podcasts are such an awesome way to show off your personality and get to know someone on a deeper level, they allow your audience to connect with you as a person before connecting with your business, instilling trust in you and allowing them to see what you’re all about and your WHY before deciding to work with you.
This is extremely important in businesses based on client-coach relationships because, when clients buy a package, they are essentially buying you: your skills, your help, and your perspective. If they don’t know you, why should they pick you over someone else? Clients want to work with someone who they feel truly gets it, which you can show in a podcast interview.
Think about this: would you rather work with a random coach you know nothing about, or a coach you feel you know well from a podcast you listen to each week? For most people, it’s a no-brainer – and it can be the difference between booking clients or not.
2. They allow you to connect with your audience over a common interest.
When you’re asked to be a podcast guest (or pitch yourself to a podcast host) it’s usually because you have some sort of connection to the topic of the podcast. (If not, you may need to rethink your pitch.) For example, if you are a health coach, you may be asked to speak on a podcast related to fitness or nutrition
This is important because the people listening to the podcast are already interested in your field. Instead of reaching out to a group of people who may or may not know anything about / be interested in the topic you’re speaking about, you’re directly connecting with a group of people who are already interested enough in the topic to tune in to a podcast about it every week. This cuts out one of the hardest parts of the marketing process, which is actually finding warm / hot leads to market to. On podcasts related to your niche, those people are provided directly to you on a silver platter, allowing you to focus on wowing them instead of finding them. If the podcast host has built a loyal audience, the trust they have in the host will transfer over to you as the host’s chosen guest, making listeners highly likely to want to connect with you further. You’d be surprised by how much work this takes off your plate and how much it frees up you (and your energy) to focus on other things.
3. They establish you as an expert in your field.
Generally, you aren’t accepted /asked to speak on a podcast unless you have credentials & experience to back up what you’re saying and make you attractive to the podcast host. (Bullshitters beware! Podcasts are no place to fake it till you make it.) Podcast hosts have a responsibility to provide their listeners with the most valuable, accurate, and entertaining segments – which their audience relies on them for. Simply being present on a podcast establishes you as an expert in your field to the podcast host, and, in turn, their audience. Not only does your being on the show make you look legit, but you also have opportunities to show off how much you know during the podcast itself.
Don’t be afraid to share important pieces of information related to your background and experience while speaking on a podcast. Any info you can provide that helps listeners see you as an expert is a bonus for you and your biz! No one wants to hire a coach they don’t feel is 100% capable of understanding their goals and helping them achieve them.
4. You give value before asking for something in return.
Before you ask your audience to buy something, you have to give them value. This is the idea behind adding a blog, freebies, and other resources to your website, and podcasts are no exception. As a guest on a podcast, you have an opportunity to provide listeners with valuable information before ever asking them to check out your business. This goes a LONG way in finding clients who are eager to work with you because they feel they can trust you to provide them with value. Like #1, this benefit is especially important for service-based business owners such as coaches, as it allows you to build positive rapport with your clients before the business transaction takes place.
Have I convinced you that podcasts are THE best way to market yourself and your business? If so, and if you’re ready to start putting yourself out there, BUCKLE UP: I launched a service to help you do exactly that, without the dirty feeling that comes with cold emailing (plus, not to mention, the lack of results).
I created The Podcast Connector to match you with aligned, established podcast hosts from my roster who focus on topics related to your business and are LOOKING for incredible guests. This service will eliminate the guesswork and cold pitching from your to-do list (which usually doesn’t work anyway). Ready to get booked on podcasts? Sign up HERE.

As an entrepreneur, it’s easy to feel like there’s never enough time to tackle all of your to-dos. (As soon as you get one done, another pops up, needing attention right away.) For this reason, developing great time management skills is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your biz. Not only will it alleviate loads of stress, but it will allow you to prioritize and get the things that need to be done, done.
I’ve narrowed down 3 of my top time management tips for entrepreneurs – the tips I’ve used to build my own business from scratch. Let’s go!
1. Keep a detailed calendar.
This one may seem like a no-brainer, but you might be surprised to know how many people don’t actually keep a calendar of their due dates and priorities. Keeping track of meetings is one thing, but if you don’t also schedule out your to-dos by the day, you’re setting yourself up to let things slip through the cracks. I put everything in my calendar – business-related and personal. This is how I make sure everything gets done, and how I have time for everything. It saves a ton of brain space to write everything down so you don’t have to remember it.
If paper and pencil calendars aren’t your thing, there are a ton of digital options that can help you stay organized right on your tablet or computer. Making use of your Apple calendar or Google calendar is a great place to start. I could not survive without Google calendar!
2. Set time blocks for productivity.
Coming in second on my list of time management tips for entrepreneurs is time blocking! Blocking your time is a great way to ensure you’re productive when you need to be while also giving yourself breaks to recharge your batteries and re-center yourself. By setting time blocks for certain activities and tasks, you can plan out a specific number of minutes or hours to work, and then schedule breaks in between. During your productivity blocks, turn off all distractions (including your phone) and exit out of all tabs that aren’t conducive to getting shit done! This will keep you focused and hyper-productive so you don’t spend hours getting something done that should only take ten minutes. (Distractions are real time vacuums!) Time blocking your days will help you avoid task-switching, which can put a huge block in productivity. I didn’t realize how much time it cost me to switch between tasks until I started time blocking, and now I’ll never go back! Setting aside specific blocks of time for certain tasks will give you open space to really get in the zone and do your best work.
3. Don’t set unrealistic goals or expectations for yourself.
Part of time management is knowing how much time you *actually* have to get stuff done – and not taking on too many projects. As an entrepreneur, you have high expectations for yourself, which is great – but spreading yourself too thin is a surefire way to consistently fall short – and then again feeling like you need to overcompensate. Feeling like you have to say yes to everything – every meeting, every opportunity, and every client – isn’t just taxing for your mental health – it’s dangerous for your business. Learn to say no respectfully so you can spend your time effectively fulfilling your obligations and commitments. It’s easy to get caught up in saying “yes” to too many things as an entrepreneur, especially when you have an endless to-do list, so it’s important to be realistic with yourself about how much you can do in a day. Doing too much will drain your energy, and you won’t be able to do your best work. Remember, every “no” gives you the chance to say “yes” to something better.
As a young entrepreneur, I struggled with many aspects of time management myself. I always felt like I should be doing more, despite having a packed schedule that was already difficult to manage. Oftentimes, I felt DRAINED.
These lessons are one of the things that inspired me to launch No Bullshit Business School, my signature program that teaches coaches how to scale their businesses effectively with the clients they want while involving their mind, body and soul – and how to ensure your time is spent on tasks that propel your business forward instead of keeping it stuck in the same place.
The course launches October 5, 2020 – I hope to see you there!
